A Few Things to Know Before Your Stay
Rooms Minka is a small, adults-only homestay in the peaceful hilltop village of Zgornja Dobrava, near Radovljica – a relaxing base for exploring Lake Bled and the Gorenjska region. Here are a few practical details to help you plan your stay.
Location & Getting Around
Rooms Minka is in a quiet village on a hill above the Sava Valley – about 10 minutes by car from Radovljica and 18 minutes from Lake Bled.
By car
The easiest way to reach us and to explore Bled, Bohinj and the mountains. Each room has one free parking space at the house.
By plane
Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) is approximately 26 km away. Rental cars, taxis and pre-booked transfers are available at the airport.
By public transport
- Bus: Kamna Gorica – Pr Kozjek stop, approx. 15 min on foot.
- Train: Globoko railway station, approx. 20–25 min on foot.
The village is on a hill, so the walk back from the stop is uphill. Please check timetables in advance.
Rooms & Bathrooms
Three guest rooms, each for up to two guests:
- Room One: king-size bed, private bathroom
- Room Two: queen-size bed, shared bathroom
- Room Three: queen-size bed, shared bathroom
The shared bathroom is used only by guests of Rooms Two and Three – a maximum of four people.
All rooms have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a small refrigerator.
Food & Drinks
We offer room only – breakfast and other meals are not provided.
There is no guest kitchen, cooking facilities or dining area. Each room has a small refrigerator for drinks and light snacks, and free coffee and tea are available in the shared hallway.

Arrival & Check-in
Thanks to self check-in, you can arrive at any time after 16:00 – no need to arrange an arrival time with us.
Complete the online guest registration before you arrive and you'll automatically receive everything you need to enter the house and your room.
The guest rooms are reached via an outdoor staircase at the back of the house.
Parking & Shared Spaces
One free parking space per room in our paved courtyard.
Secure bicycle parking is available on request, subject to availability.
Guests are welcome to relax on the shared outdoor terrace.
Housekeeping
As a small homestay, we don't offer daily hotel-style cleaning. The shared bathroom is cleaned regularly, and for longer stays we're happy to refresh your room – just let us know.
House Rules
We want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy a relaxing stay at Rooms Minka. We simply ask our guests to respect a few basic house rules.
Peace & Quiet
Rooms Minka is part of a family home, so you may occasionally hear everyday household sounds.
Please keep noise low, especially during quiet hours from 22:00 to 06:00.
Shared Bathroom
Guests of Rooms Two and Three: please lock the door while using the bathroom, leave it tidy and take your personal items back to your room.
Smoking & Vaping
Smoking and vaping of any kind – including e-cigarettes and heated tobacco – are allowed only in the designated area near the garage. All other indoor and outdoor areas are smoke-free.
Recreational drugs are not permitted.
Room Comfort
Please keep the air conditioning between 22 °C and 26 °C.
Please don't prepare meals in your room.
If you log in to your own streaming accounts on the TV, remember to sign out before you leave.
Adults Only
Rooms Minka welcomes adult guests only. Baby cots and extra beds are not available.
Pets
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets.
Parties & Events
To keep the house peaceful, parties, hen and stag celebrations and similar events are not permitted.
